Private Client Fee Earner / Solicitor

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £35,000 – £55,000 per annum

An exiting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing law firm in Portsmouth as part of their expanding Private Client team.

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Fee Earner or a Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE to handle a broad caseload of wills, probate, trusts and estate planning. This is a fantastic chance to develop your career in a supportive and professional environment where client care comes first.

Responsibility

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a varied caseload of Private Client matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Drafting and advising on wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.
  • Handling probate applications and associated tax considerations.
  • Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients, with a focus on excellent client service.
  • Attending clients of the Firm on a regular basis, building strong long-term relationships.
  • Maintaining accurate records using the firm’s case management system.

About You

  • You will have at least 3 years’ PQE as a Solicitor in Private Client law, or be an experienced Legal Executive / Fee Earner with a proven track record.
  • Solid technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and estate planning.
  • A client-focused approach, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
