Job description The Seafarers Programme Manager supports the MCA’s Strategic Objectives and Business Plan by developing and implementing training and certification standards aligned with international and national requirements. It involves stakeholder engagement across the shipping industry, nautical colleges, and training providers. Key responsibilities include managing the modernisation of seafarer training, including digital assessments, supporting the fishing industry, and adapting to future maritime technologies. It also drives transformation within the Seafarer Examiners and Technical Delivery team, ensuring service standards and efficiency.
