General Premises Assistant Location: Cambridge Salary: £12.24 per hour, rising to £12.60 per hour Vacancy Type: Full time, 37.5 hours a week, full year. The Role The School currently has a vacancy within their Housekeeping team for a reliable and hardworking General Premises Assistant. This opportunity will allow a self-motivated individual to be a part of a dynamic team that works closely with their Caretaking team to provide an efficient and effective cleaning service. You will work with colleagues to clean and prepare buildings for the school day and for various evening and weekend events to ensure the School is presented in the best light possible. The successful candidate will be honest and reliable with high standards and excellent attention to detail. Key Responsibilities The General Premises Assistant will principally be based at the Upper School in Hills Road, but is required to help clean and reset the dining room at the Pelican school (a five minute walk away from the Upper) after the lunch service. They may also need to provide support at the School’s other sites on occasions. The appointed person would be expected to carry out a varied number of duties as instructed at various school sites including:
