Senior Software Developer – C# .NET
Location: Wellingborough, England
Contract: 6 or 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £48,000 – £56,000

We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong C#, .NET, and web development skills to join a global engineering and logistics company on a 6 or 12-month FTC. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale, international projects and deliver innovative solutions across the full product lifecycle.

You’ll be maintaining and developing high-performance applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core

  • Design and build responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular

  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions

  • Create test cases, perform software testing, and integrate subsystems into larger systems

  • Write and maintain technical documentation and ensure high-quality, maintainable code

  • Collaborate with international teams on key projects and provide technical support when required

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript)

  • Skilled in building responsive, cross-browser compatible applications

  • Strong database knowledge (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB) and understanding of REST APIs

  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, design patterns, and clean coding principles

  • Experience with JIRA and source control tools (GitHub, GitLab)

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

  • Willingness to travel occasionally
