VIQU is looking for an experienced Primavera P6 Project Planner to join a leading engineering organisation delivering major nuclear projects. This is a high-profile role working on multi-million-pound control and instrumentation projects — from greenfield developments to upgrades of existing PLC/SCADA systems and safety-critical solutions.

The Role

• Lead the planning function for major nuclear engineering projects using Primavera P6

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports

• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure achievable timelines and milestones

• Support delay analysis, compensation events, and forensic planning

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project schedules

• Maintain databases, compliance records, and H&S documentation

• Coach and mentor junior planners in best practice and P6 usage

Essential Skills & Experience

• British-born national, SC clearance eligible

• Proven track record in Primavera P6 planning for main contractors

• Strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge and CEMAR experience

• Experience supporting delay claims and producing impact programmes

• Skilled in project controls, reporting, and risk management

• Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills

Desirable Skills

• Earned Value Analysis, S-curves, cost planning and reporting

• Supply chain planning, material procurement, and logistics

• Consolidated project reporting across multiple contracts

• MS Project planning experience alongside P6
