Data & ML Product Lead

VIQU have partnered with leading insurance firm to search for a Data & ML Product Lead to own the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of data and machine learning products. You’ll be responsible for shaping product roadmaps, embedding governance frameworks, and ensuring data products deliver measurable value across the business. This role works closely with senior stakeholders, data science, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions that drive business outcomes

Key Responsibilities of the Data & ML Product Lead

• Define and deliver the strategy for data and ML product development.
• Own and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data products from concept through to adoption and continuous improvement.
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and drive product delivery.
• Define KPIs to track success and embed continuous improvement practices.
• Build standardised frameworks to support consistent delivery and governance.

Key Requirements of the Data & ML Product Lead

• Strong experience in product management within data and AI/ML, with a track record of successful delivery.
• Background in insurance or financial services, with understanding of how data drives business value.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks for product development and advanced analytics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capability.
• Experienced in Agile or continuous delivery environments.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and foster innovation.
• Proven expertise in establishing governance frameworks for data products.
