Project Manager – 3-month contract - Outside IR35

My customer is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to manage a Data migration project. The project is in flight and has milestones set for July, August and September which must be met.

As the Project Manager you would take part in managing a Data Migration project migrating financial data from Microsoft Excel into an Azure Data Lake. This technical aspects will be carried out by a 3rd party company, so experience manging external partners to tight deadlines is a must and you will be reporting directly with the CFO and CIO.

The customer is looking for a Project Manager who has a strong personality and is confident working to tight

Primary day to day responsibilities for the Project Manager will include:

• Project Leadership: Lead the delivery of a data migration project 
• Infrastructure and Data Migration: Microsoft to Azure Data Migration, Data reporting (Power BI) and overseeing and communicating the projects progress.
• Coordinate with the 3^rd Party doing the data Migration
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the key point of contact for senior leadership, investors, and stakeholders, clearly communicating project goals, challenges, and outcomes related to restructuring activities.
• Meeting tight deadlines and ensuring the project is following the necessary timescales

Key requirements for the Project Manager:

• Experience in project/delivery management
• Knowledge/Understanding of Agile and an Agile way of working
• Experience with Data migrations
• Experience with Power BI reporting
• Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 data
• Confident with communication and leadership
