Project Planner
Stone, Staffordshire – Hybrid | Market Related Salary

VIQU is supporting a leading engineering and systems integration organisation within the energy sector in the search for a Project Planner to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and power projects.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial teams to develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate resources and support the successful delivery of projects from tender through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Work with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial teams to coordinate project activities and resources
• Support the development of tender programmes alongside bid teams
• Provide programme updates and reporting to stakeholders
• Apply planning principles including critical path and variance analysis to monitor progress and manage risk

Key Requirements:

• Experience working as a Project Planner / Planning Engineer on engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Experience supporting projects through the full lifecycle
• Understanding of NEC contracts would be beneficial
• Strong organisational and communication skills

Desirable:

• Experience within energy, utilities or power infrastructure projects
• Exposure to Earned Value Analysis or National Grid related projects
