Infrastructure Consultant | 6 – Month Contract | Outside IR35 | Central London

My client is looking for an Infrastructure Consultant to review, improve and redesign existing infrastructure within a global organisation. The successful candidate will provide expert level analysis, recommendations and support of the implementation of modernised infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Consultant:

  • Assess and document the current infrastructure architecture.
  • Evaluate and enhance the current configurations.
  • Creating detailed Infrastructure diagrams, High- and low-level design documents.
  • Proposing a comprehensive redesign of the IT Infrastructure, including hardware, software and requirements.
  • Assess BAU monitoring and system health check procedures.
  • Reviewing the user setup, maintenance and user group policy, proposing and implementing improvements.

Key Experience of the Infrastructure Consultant:

  • Proven extensive experience with VMware vSphere 7 and Virtualization technologies.
  • Experience creating diagrams, design documents and scipts of IT Infrastructure proposals.
  • In depth knowledge of server architecture, VMware and VDI.
  • Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MSCP)

The Successful Infrastructure Consultant will be a commutable distance from Bank station, working full time Onsite.
