Data Product Manager

London/Horsham – Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
Salary 90k – 95k

VIQU has partnered with a leading organisation seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to take ownership of the development, delivery, and ongoing optimisation of data products. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving data strategy and delivering high-value data solutions that align with business objectives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities of the Data Product Manager:
• Drive implementation of data product strategy aligned to business objectives
• Own the product roadmap and act as Product Owner for data products
• Prioritise and manage the product backlog to maximise value delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and product features
• Lead Agile delivery, including sprint planning and iterative development
• Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance standards are met
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver data products successfully
• Continuously improve products through performance monitoring and user feedback

Key Requirements of the Data Product Manager:

• MUST HAVE insurance industry experience
• Proven experience owning and delivering data products
• Strong understanding of data product value within financial services
• Experience with Azure and tools such as Databricks
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and backlog management
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
• Experience with data governance, compliance, and data quality
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver end-to-end solutions
