We’re looking for a talented Software Development Manager to lead a small but highly skilled development team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical business applications built on the Microsoft .NET platform. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for an experienced .NET developer with strong people management skills.

As Software Development Manager, you will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring delivery of high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will mentor and guide your team to adopt best practices, lead code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the development team as the Software Development Manager, promoting accountability and technical excellence.

  • Oversee SDLC for .NET applications, ensuring robust coding standards, security, and performance optimization.

  • Implement and enforce peer code reviews and unit testing frameworks.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables.

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and delivery as the Software Development Manager.

  • Provide technical guidance and lead design authority reviews.

  • Stay current with emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend their adoption.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on .NET development experience including ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API.

  • Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring developer teams in a Software Development Manager or similar role.

  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue).

  • Solid understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design.

  • Experience with ORM tools like Entity Framework Core.

  • Proficient in Git and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ideally, a degree or relevant qualification in computer science or related field.
