Blue Yonder WMS Lead (Discrete) – 3 Months Initial – Hybrid (London)

VIQU have partnered with a large enterprise organisation operating within a complex warehouse and distribution environment. We are seeking a hands-on Blue Yonder WMS Lead (Discrete) to support and stabilise a live WMS platform, while delivering ongoing enhancements.

This role is suited to someone who is comfortable working directly within the Blue Yonder product, with strong experience across MOCA, configuration and system customisation, and able to operate effectively in a live, fast-moving environment.

The Role

 Blue Yonder WMS Lead (Discrete) will take ownership of development and support activities across the WMS platform, working closely with both technical teams and warehouse operations to deliver improvements and resolve issues.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can work within the system itself, rather than purely at an integration or infrastructure level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS customisations using MOCA
• Configure and enhance WMS functionality in line with business requirements
• Design and support integrations between WMS and wider systems
• Build reports, data extracts and queries using SQL
• Support system upgrades, patches and ongoing improvements
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support across a live WMS environment
• Work closely with operational teams to understand warehouse processes and translate into system solutions
• Ensure system stability, performance and reliability

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS Development (JDA / Discrete)
• Proven experience working with MOCA and SQL
• Experience with Page Builder (actions, workflows, batch processing)
• Experience with Blue Yonder Integrator and system integrations
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes (picking, packing, inventory, fulfilment)
• Experience working in live environments, supporting and enhancing existing systems
• Comfortable working across both technical and functional areas
• Experience within Blue Yonder Discrete WMS environments is highly desirable

Role Details:

• Job Role: Blue Yonder WMS Lead (Discrete) / JDA
• Contract: 3 months initial (likely extension)
• Location: Hybrid – 2 days per month onsite (London)
• Rate: £500 - £550 per day
