IT Support Engineer – 2-month contract – Salford, Manchester

VIQU IT have a customer who are looking for a skilled IT Support professional who is a proactive and customer-focused individual with experience of 1^st to 2^nd line IT support.

Within this role you will be required to provide 1^st to 2^nd line support directly to the team, this includes Troubleshooting, configuration and customer-facing IT support.

Strong experience with Windows, M365 and Active Directory is required for this role.

IT Support Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1^st to 2^nd line deskside IT support to end users
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including user management and troubleshooting
• Manage and support devices using Microsoft Intune
• Administer and maintain Active Directory (users, groups, permissions, GPOs)
• Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Manage IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation
• Escalate critical issues where necessary while maintaining ownership
• Deliver excellent customer service and clear technical communication

IT Support Engineer Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in 1^st to 2^nd line IT Support (Deskside environment)
• Strong working knowledge of:Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware and softwareExperience managing IT inventory and assets
  • Office 365 / Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Active Directory
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

You must be able to commit to onsite 5 days per week based in Salford for this role.
