Maintenance

Stellenbosch | On-Site

As our Maintenance, you will support the seamless operation of our property by ensuring all facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are well-maintained, safe, and fully functional. You will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by responding promptly to maintenance requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all areas of the hotel are kept to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and appearance.

You will work closely with the Maintenance hand and department teams to maintain operational excellence across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and outdoor facilities.

Along with a Technical or trade-related qualification (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, or General Maintenance), you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role within a hotel or busy hospitality environment.

Aside from this, you can work shifts and respond to after-hours call-outs when required with proficiency in operating maintenance tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems. You possess knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and compliance standards, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment for both guests and staff.

You will apply your technical problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your strong time management, communication, and organisational skills will help you prioritise tasks effectively. At the same time, your adaptability and ability to perform well under pressure will enable you to thrive in challenging situations. With a strong focus on safety awareness and compliance, your interpersonal skills will foster collaboration, making you a vital team member.
