Leisure Sales Manager You will join our Head Office Commercial Team as a Leisure Sales Manager. You are a dynamic, results-driven individual who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a passion for the hospitality and travel trade industry, and demonstrates exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills. Reporting to the Group Head of Commercial – Marketing & Sales, you will be responsible for managing and growing the leisure segment across the Petousis Hotel Group. Part of your role will be to act as the primary contact for all leisure accounts, building strong relationships to drive loyalty, repeat business, and revenue growth. Aside from this, you will lead the annual contracting process and negotiate rates, allocations, and commercial terms across all group hotels. You will identify and develop new high-potential leisure accounts that align with our commercial objectives and represent the group at domestic and international trade shows, roadshows, and industry events, promoting the hotels and building the brand. Working closely with Revenue, Reservations, and Marketing Teams to align strategies, campaigns, and account servicing as well as tracking, analysing, and reporting on leisure sales performance, account activity, and market trends, will form part of your duties. Lastly, you will manage the leisure sales budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated and deliver measurable return on investment. To be successful, you need 5 years’ experience in hotel sales, focusing on leisure accounts and travel trade with a strong understanding of the Southern African tourism and international distribution markets. Experience representing hotels at trade shows and industry events is vital, whereas a degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, or Marketing will set you apart from the rest. You have proven success in contracting and managing STO, wholesaler, and travel trade relationships, with familiarity with hotel revenue management principles and contracting processes. You'll bring your strong negotiation and planning skills, using your organisational awareness and persuasiveness to achieve excellent results. With a focus on teamwork and client needs, your commercial drive and results-oriented mindset will contribute to ongoing success. You'll excel at building relationships, using your excellent communication skills to strengthen partnerships and foster collaboration.
