About the role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, we’re looking for a commercially focussed finance leader to drive accurate reporting, strategic insight, and operational performance across Vantify. You’ll be an integral part of the finance function, assisting and leading on a range of key accounting activities and championing process improvements such as ERP implementation and audit readiness.
What you’ll be getting up to
- Lead and oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful management reporting
- Monitor business performance, investigate variances, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance profitability
- Provide high-quality financial insight to senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions and supporting data-driven decision-making
- Manage cashflow forecasting, working capital management
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and reporting cycles, reducing bottlenecks and improving turnaround times
- Support the Finance Director in shaping and executing financial strategy aligned to business growth and profitability targets
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring robust planning and alignment with business priorities
- Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
- Manage preparation for year-end audit and manage key external relationships
- Provide timely and accurate information to Group, including board pack inputs, ESG data, cashflow reporting and other ad‑hoc requests including audit
- Deputise for the Finance Director when required, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making
- Support the implementation of a new ERP system as required
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support the wider finance function

In order to excel in this role you need…
- To be qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA (or equivalent)
- A proven track record in a senior finance role
- The ability to integrate data and provide insight to internal stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience driving business performance and operational efficiency
- Commitment to delivering high-quality outputs and going the extra mile when required
- To be highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insight
- To be self-motivated, a strong team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
- To be highly proficient with the full Microsoft product suite
Whilst not essential, experience in a consultancy and SaaS businesses and experience with NetSuite would be desirable.

- Salary: £60,000+ per annum
- Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire office with the ability to work from home for up to 2 days per week
- Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week acrossMonday to Friday from 9am – 5:30pm
