A new vacancy has arisen with a law firm in London providing fully remote services and looking for a locum to cover from the 21st May 2026 to 25th June 2026 inclusive. Fully remote role, and details below:
Firm looking for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to provide support during holiday leave for a consultant solicitor. The role is suited to a confident and self-sufficient fee earner who is comfortable managing files with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion · Taking client calls and providing clear, practical advice · Dealing with enquiries, requisitions, and lender requirements · Preparing reports on title and reporting to clients and lenders · Reviewing contracts, transfers, leases, and title documents · Liaising with agents, lenders, solicitors, and management companies · Handling exchange and completion processes · General file management and progression
Requirements:
· Strong experience in residential conveyancing (freehold and leasehold) · Confident communicator, comfortable speaking directly with clients · Able to work independently and manage deadlines · Practical, solutions-focused approach · Experience with reports on title and lender requirements essential Working arrangement:
· fully remote working
