Solicitors firm based in London W4 (7 minute walk from tube station) looking for a residential and commercial conveyancing locum lawyer, or a part time solely commercial property lawyer. Commercial element is essential. The role is office-based, although some remote working may be possible. Firm looking to make a permanent appointment, so locum arrangement will cover the period whilst they undertake the recruitment process.
The department is predominantly residential conveyancing and there is always a healthy volume of that work available. The conveyancing team is mostly made up of fee earners that only do residential work.
The recruitment need has arisen due to the need to replace a senior solicitor whose caseload was roughly 80% residential and 20% commercial property. At present, the other commercial property fee earner is operating at capacity, so there is a particular need for someone who can undertake that element of the work.
Start date: as soon as you are able
Hourly rate: proposals welcome
Remote working possible: no - only hybrid arrangement considered but mostly office based.
