A Police Force based in Hampshire (no prizes for guessing which one!) is looking for a litigation solicitor to work out of their Eastleigh offices.  
The successful candidate will be assisting the legal service and representation for the Force to include advocacy in Courts and tribunals, advice on all operational matters and on the content and direction of future Force policy, with specific responsibility for the conduct and defence of civil litigation against the Force.
 
Essential Experience:
·Extensive experience that includes civil litigation work and claims handling in a legal environment.
·Advocacy experience in court.
·Experience of civil litigation in the County and High Court.
 
Desirable Experience:
·Experience of police law.
·Experience of criminal law and advocacy.
·Management experience.
 
The role will be full-time, permanent and salary band is 78k to 86k per annum
