Job Title : Boilermakers (FTC) x 3

Grade : C2

Reports to : Fabrication Foreman

Department : Engineering

Main purpose of the job

• Boiler making
• Fabrication and welding of components (tanks, structural steel, piping, plating, and machine guarding.)
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings
• General housekeeping before and after
• Comply with any lawful instruction given by foreman
• Ensure SHE Compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric
• Trade tested boilermaker/plater welder.
• N2 mathematics, science, drawing and theory.
• 2 years’ experience in a heavy metal plant industry.

Personal Qualities

• The ideal candidate must work well in a team environment, possess good problem-solving skills and demonstrate commitment. He/she must have traceable references, understand weight of equipment and rigging tools.
