Job Overview:

We are currently seeking dependable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers (C1 licence holders) for ad hoc, temporary assignments with logistics and transport clients in the Hatfield area. Ideal for drivers seeking flexibility or additional work alongside other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive 7.5T (C1) vehicles to deliver and collect goods across local and national routes

• Carry out daily vehicle checks in accordance with DVSA regulations

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers

• Complete delivery paperwork and logbook records accurately

• Maintain compliance with all transport laws and company policies

• Communicate effectively with transport planners and customers

Requirements:

• Valid 7.5T (C1) licence

• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum of 6 months 7.5T driving experience preferred

• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN convictions)

• Understanding of driving hours and working time regulations

• Good customer service and time management skills

• Willingness to work at short notice on an ad hoc basis

Desirable:

• Previous multi-drop or tail-lift experience

• Familiarity with Hatfield and surrounding routes
