Warehouse & Logistics Operative

Working Pattern

• Hours: 9am to 4:30pm 
• Location: Cambridge
• Travel may be required occasionally to meet reasonable business or training needs.

The Role

We are recruiting for a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse & Logistics Operative to join a well-established organisation operating within a highly regulated sector.

This role is key to ensuring the efficient, accurate and compliant handling of specialist products within a busy warehouse environment. You will play an important part in maintaining quality, safety and service standards across all warehousing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out in full compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards
• Receive, check and accurately book in goods
• Store products correctly in line with regulatory and company procedures
• Pick, process and dispatch orders accurately across multiple product categories
• Handle specialist samples and batches in a timely and precise manner
• Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Support Quality Management and Business Continuity processes
• Maintain a clean, organised and audit-ready warehouse environment
• Provide support with deliveries and equipment placement as required
• Be available for occasional out-of-hours support if required

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong IT skills and confidence using systems and databases
• Experience with stock control and inventory processes
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Strong time management skills
• Understanding of GDP (desirable)
• Forklift truck experience (advantageous)
• Experience within a regulated or diagnostic environment (advantageous)
