Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA) to Directors
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
 
Role Overview
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and professional Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to two Directors within a fast-paced business based in Welwyn Garden City.
This is a varied and hands-on role requiring excellent diary management, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will also support office recruitment activities, oversee apprentices, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
 
Key Responsibilities


Director Support
·Provide full PA support to two Directors
·Manage complex diaries, prioritising and scheduling meetings effectively
·Coordinate and book meetings, appointments, and events
·Act as first point of contact for internal and external enquiries
·Prepares correspondence, documents, and reports as required

Office Administration
·Manage general office administration and ensure efficient daily operations
·Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
·Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and paper)
·Order office supplies and liaise with suppliers
·Support compliance and documentation where required

Recruitment Support
·Assist with office-based recruitment processes
·Coordinate interviews and onboarding paperwork
·Liaise with recruitment agencies and candidates
·Maintain recruitment and personnel records
·Monitor attendance, training records, and progress documentation
·Act as a key point of contact for apprentice-related queries
·Liaise with training providers where required

General Support
·Assist with ad hoc projects as directed by the Directors
·Support wider office and operations team when required
·Help maintain a professional, organised office environment
 
Skills & Experience Required


·Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant
·Strong diary management and prioritisation skills
·Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
·Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
·Ability to work independently and manage confidential information
·Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
·Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
·Experience supporting multiple managers or directors preferred
