Freight Forwarding Transport Planner

Salary:  £32,760

Location:  Bedfordshire

Shift Pattern:  4 on 4 off / 07:00 - 19:00

Start: ASAP

We are working on behalf of our global forwarding and logistics services client, looking to appoint a Freight Forwarding Transport Planner,  on a 4 on 4 off pattern, working 7am to 7pm, from their Bedfordshire branch.

What you'll do:

As Transport Planner, you will be responsible for managing all jobs from quotation stage to final invoicing in line with the customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities 

• Initiate and Co-ordinate transport bookings
• Import / Export Compliance (ASM Import / Export Entries)
• Maintaining Aviation Protocols
• Provide timely and proactive updates on all movements directly to the customers

What you need:

• First class communication skills
• Commercially aware with problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt and be flexible
• Full, UK Driving License with less than 6 points.
• Right to work in UK & no disqualifying convictions
