Full-Time Warehouse Operative / Van Driver – M11 Openshaw (Permanent Opportunity)

Location: M11 Openshaw, Manchester

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join a frozen food warehouse team based in Openshaw. This role offers the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff following a successful 3-month period.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general warehouse duties within a frozen food environment, including working in freezer storage areas
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Driving company vans to complete local deliveries and collections as required
• Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring safe and responsible driving at all times
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with health and safety standards

Requirements (Essential)

• No previous warehouse experience required
• Minimum 2 years' UK manual driving licence
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties, including lifting up to 25kg
• Ability to communicate in Cantonese
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours

• 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Additional hours may be required depending on workload and operational demands

Working Pattern

• 5 days per week
• Mandatory working on Sundays
• Fixed day off on Saturdays
• One additional weekday off (flexible choice)

Pay Rate

• £12.71 per hour
