🛠️ CNC Operative – Afternoon Shift | Temp to Perm | Chesterfield (S41)

Join a precision-driven manufacturing team where quality and craftsmanship matter. We’re seeking a skilled CNC Operative to support production on the afternoon shift at our Chesterfield facility.

📍 Location: Chesterfield S41 🕒 Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 3:00pm to 11:00pm 📅 Weekly Hours: 40 hours 💰 Pay Rate:

• £12.50 per hour starting

• Rising to £13.50 per hour after 12 weeks 📈 Contract Type: Temp to Perm

🔧 Core Duties Include:

• Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently

• Setting up and calibrating equipment and tools to required specifications

• Interpreting detailed part drawings and translating them into accurate production measurements

• Fitting correct tools to active machines

• Operating additional machinery such as hydraulic presses, grinders, borers, and overhead cranes

• Inspecting workflow and outputs to meet strict technical and quality standards

• Planning daily machining tasks to optimise output and ensure smooth operations
