Warehouse Operative with FLT

Hours: Mon-Fri (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm)

Rate: £13.10/hr + paid break

Proman Recruitment is currently looking for warehouse operatives on behalf of our Client who is one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of Food produciton. You would need to able to work on a Mon to Fri

The Role

Your main duties would include:

• loading and unloading goods from counterbalance
• performing other warehouse tasks like picking, packing and despatch
• moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions
• checking loads are secure
• Need to work under 2-7 degree celsius for cheese products environment 
• helping to load and unload trucks by hand where necessary

The Candidate

To be successful, you need to:

• have previous experience in operating Counterbalance truck
• have a valid license/certificate to operate FLT trucks (Counterbalance)
• be punctual and reliable
• be able to organise and prioritise workload
• be computer literate
• have good numeracy and literacy skills

Stock Control experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Successful candidates will be invited to a local interview where they will be asked to present a valid FLT Counterbalance certificate/license (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
