Maintenance Technician/Engineer in Colchester

• Start : ASAP
• Hours : Mon to Friday - 8 to 5 and on a call out rota.
• Pay : £250 Engineer /£220 Technician
• Location : Colchester

Long term position

Daily

• BMS check for faults
• Plantroom check and complete sheet
• Check brine tank level
• Check Buffer vessel Temps
• Check pressurisation units
• Check pump sets and pressure
• Check control panels for warning lights
• Check for general leaks in plantrooms
• Cold water tank temps

Weekly

• Sprinkler check and complete sheet
• Buffer vessel flushing
• Flush Chlorination point in Cold water tank rooms
• Water temperatures
• Water Flushing of seldom used outlets

Monthly

• Shower head replacement – see schedule with security team
• Air dirt separators
• Water meter read in manhole – Lift but do not enter (2 man job)

3 monthly

• Booster pump maintenance
• Circulating pump maintenance
• TMV maintenance

6monthly

• Expansion Vessel maintenance
• Pressurisation unit maintenance
• Heat meter service
• Grills and diffuser inspection
• General ventilation inspection
• Gutters and downpipe inspection

Adhoc

• Take salt to plantrooms
• Reactive repairs
