Counterbalance FLT Drivers – Long-Term Opportunity

Location: Worsley, Greater Manchester (M28)
Pay Rates:

• AM Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm): £13.70/hour
• PM Shift (2:30pm – 11:00pm): £13.95/hour
  Shifts: Monday to Friday
  Contract Type: Temp to Perm (Guaranteed after 12 weeks)

About the Role

PROMAN is recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Drivers for a leading food manufacturing company in the Worsley area. This is a long-term opportunity with a clear path to permanent employment after 12 weeks.

We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals who are confident operating a counterbalance truck in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, your duties will include:

• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility
• Stacking goods in designated storage bays following stock control instructions
• Checking loads are secure and safe for transport
• Stacking and organising empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks (e.g. battery charging for electric trucks)
• Assisting with manual loading/unloading when required

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail and awareness of health & safety
• Flexibility to work either AM or PM shift
