Packing Operator

Location: Eastwood, Todmorden

Hours of Work:

• Sunday: 8:00pm - 12:00am
• Monday to Thursday: 4:00pm - 12:00am
• Overtime available

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

PROMAN is recruiting a Packing Operator on behalf of a well-established commercial egg supplier based in Todmorden. The company supplies cafés, shops, and other businesses across Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, and the surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing boxes and packaging materials for production
• Packing eggs into cartons and trays, ensuring they are positioned correctly to prevent damage
• Labelling products accurately and ensuring all required regulatory information is included
• Operating packing machinery safely and efficiently
• Palletising and wrapping finished products ready for storage or dispatch
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the production area and machinery
• Assisting with basic stock control and inventory checks

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to identify cracked or damaged eggs
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to check batch numbers, dates, and stock quantities
• Physically fit and able to lift boxes weighing up to 20-25kg
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production and packing environment
