Proman is seeking a Civil Engineer with commercial skills to perform the role of Civil Project Manager with over 10 years of experience among civil, residential and photovoltaic projects to lead business development in the UK.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing business, tendering, planning, executing, and completing projects within the established timelines and assigned budget under quality and HSE requirements.

The company has 5+ years of experience in project management and/or execution in the field of civil works (roads, transport infrastructure, urban works, photovoltaic projects, building works, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and planning of the project: monitor and track progress of the project plan.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and costs, contract and changes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and deal with third parties/suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize project risks in compliance with applicable occupational health and safety regulations (HS&E).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure the quality of the work is performed.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Create project team

Requirements:

  • MSc in Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in previous roles. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of foundation methodologies, formwork and concreting according of local UK construction standards and regulations.
  • Communications and leadership skills to deal with stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
