£29,852.16 per annum

Fixed Day Shift

Our client is looking for Production Operatives to join their team at their Automotive Production factory in Derbyshire.  If you have experience as a production operative or warehouse operative, you're the ideal candidate for this role.

Pay Rates:

Salary £29,852.16, breakdown below;

• £13.59 per hour Base rate
• +£1.13 Shift allowance mornings
• Overtime is paid at a premium: Time and third for the first two hours and time and a half there after.
• Overtime can be called up to 45 minutes on the early shift and up to 2 hours on late shift.  Please note there can be occasional weekend overtime

Hours of work:

• 39 hours per week
• Shift time: 06:00 to 14:18
• You will need to attend a 15-minute briefing prior to the start of your shift.

Job Description:

You will be working within one of our main production areas, either Body shop, Paint shop, Plastics shop, or Assembly shop. In addition, we are also hiring into the Business Revenue Centre for Used Vehicle Refurbishments and accessory fitting. This position is perfect for those with prior experience as a production operative or warehouse operative.

• Working on our production operative line, running one of our manufacturing processes, building an element of the vehicle.
• Confirming quality, and inspection.
• Taking ownership for improving the condition of your process.
• Raising and implementing improvement ideas.

You will receive a one-week induction learning the skills needed to work on the production operative line and a 4 week ramp up plan where you will be trained by an experienced Our client Member.

• The ability to follow standardised work and build to the same quality every time.
• Attention to detail.
• Good levels of attendance.
• Flexibility to carry out overtime when required.
• Enthusiastic and committed.
• Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience working as a production operative or warehouse operative
