Job Title: Production operative

Shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday OR 10pm-6am Sunday-Thurday
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Shifts
Full time and part time shifts available from 1 shift a week to 5 shifts a week. 3 shifts available to choose from:
- AM SHIFT: 6AM-2PM
- PM SHIFT: 2PM-10PM
- NIGHTS SHIFT: 10PM-6AM
Role & responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery involved in the blending, mixing, packing, and processing of coffee and hot chocolate products.
- Measuring and weighing ingredients according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Monitoring production lines to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and safely.
- Conducting quality checks on raw materials, finished products, packaging, and labelling.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and housekeeping throughout the production area.
- Following Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, and company procedures at all times.
- Packing finished products ready for distribution and palletising where required.
- Reporting equipment faults, quality concerns, or production issues to supervisors.
- Completing production records, batch documentation, and check sheets accurately.
- Assisting with machine changeovers and cleaning processes between production runs.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production targets and customer requirements.
The Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience within food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or factory environments is desirable but not essential.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices is advantageous.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
- Physically capable of standing for prolonged periods and undertaking manual handling duties.
