Job Title: Production operative
Location: Haydock
Shifts: Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10Pm Monday-Friday and 10pm-6am Sunday-Thurday
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
12 week temp to perm contract

· £12.71/hour for any hours worked.
Shifts
· Weekly 2 rotating shifts 1st week (6am-2pm Monday-Friday), 2nd Week (2pm-22pm Monday-Friday) and ocassional nights 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday.
Role & responsibilities:
Packing powder products including hot chocolate, coffee pods, and other dry goods.
- Prepare and blend ingredients according to approved recipes and production schedules.
- Accurately weigh and measure raw materials using calibrated equipment.
- Operate blending, mixing, and processing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor blending times, temperatures, and ingredient consistency to ensure product quality.
- Conduct quality checks and report any deviations from specifications.
- Complete production records, batch sheets, and traceability documentation.
- Clean and sanitize blending equipment and work areas according to cleaning schedules.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Warehouse teams to achieve production targets.
- Follow allergen control procedures and prevent cross-contamination.
The Successful Candidate:
- Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and GMP.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and production instructions.
- Good numerical skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and handle raw material bags safely.
