Food Production Operative

We are looking for experienced food production operatives to work at one of our clients' sites based in Whitefield, Bury.

The company itself are one of the leading producers of pork and beef products across the world.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm (Fri finish time is 3.30pm)

Pay:

£13.00/hr standard rate for any hours worked between Mon and Sat (up to 42.75hrs)

£19.50/hr overtime rate for any hours worked between Mon and Sat (over 42.75hrs)

£26.00/hr overtime rate for any hours worked on Sun

Candidate duties:

• Processing and packing pork products - i.e. curing, smoking (PLEASE NOTE: The products are NOT HALAL)
• Light butchery work - cutting and trimming pork and beef cuts
• Order picking - single or bulk picks
• General housekeeping

Candidate profile:

• Have previous experience working with food or comfortable to do so
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment (up to 5 degrees)
• Be able to work as part of a team or on your own
• Willing to learn
