The Role As an Upholsterer, you will play a key role in producing high-quality mattresses, divans, headboards and upholstered bed products. Working as part of a skilled manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring products are upholstered accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Upholstering mattresses, divans, headboards and other bedding products to specification
  • Fitting fabrics, foam, padding and coverings using hand tools and pneumatic equipment
  • Measuring, cutting and preparing materials for production
  • Operating upholstery tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across production departments


What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous upholstery experience or experience within a furniture manufacturing environment
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong manual dexterity and practical skills
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Desirable

  • Experience using pneumatic staplers, upholstery tools or industrial sewing equipment
  • Previous experience manufacturing beds, mattresses, sofas or furniture products


Shift Pattern

Double Days Rotation

Week 1

  • Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00
  • Friday: 06:00 - 13:00

Week 2

  • Monday to Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00
  • Friday: 13:00 - 20:00
