Remote Technical Support Agent– Automotive Systems

Location: Denham
Hours: Monday–Friday 08:15–17:15, plus some Saturdays (shift system)
Hourly Rate: £16–£18 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

Our client is partnering with a leading windscreen replacement service to deliver expert remote support for advanced driver assistance systems. As a Remote Technical Support Specialist, you will help ensure vehicle forward-facing cameras are correctly calibrated after windscreen replacement. Your work enables systems like lane-keeping assist, speed sign recognition, and emergency braking to function safely.

This is a computer-based, remote role—you do not need to be a qualified vehicle technician. A general interest or basic understanding of vehicles is helpful, but your main focus will be providing technical and customer support via remote connection tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect remotely to vehicles using specialist tooling to perform ADAS camera calibration
• Provide high-quality support to customers and service agents
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure proper system configuration
• Document cases and update ticketing systems accurately
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficient workflow and resolve complex problems

What We’re Looking For

• Previous customer-facing experience (customer support experience desirable)
• Experience in technical support or IT service roles (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with remote support tools such as TeamViewer or equivalent (highly desirable)
• Experience using ticketing systems or live chat to manage support requests (highly desirable)
• Strong communication skills and a professional, solution-focused approach
• General interest in automotive technology is beneficial
