We’re currently looking for a skilled CNC Turner Setter Operator to join our growing production team in Leicester. If you have a passion for precision engineering and enjoy working with high-quality components to tight tolerances, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 14:30 – 23:00
• Friday: 14:30 – 20:00

What You’ll Be Doing

• Setting CNC turning machines (single and/or twin spindle) within target times
• Operating machines and making necessary adjustments for optimal performance
• Producing high-quality components in line with technical drawings
• Working to tight tolerances across a variety of materials
• Carrying out in-process inspections using measuring equipment
• Collaborating with Quality and Production teams
• Supporting machining improvements and capability
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
• Assisting with programming tasks where required

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in CNC turning (setting & operating)
• Background in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
• Good understanding of machining processes and tooling (desirable)
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001
