MIG Welder – Leicester (LE4) | Temp to Perm

📍 Location: Leicester (LE4)

🕒 Working Hours: 

• 06.00 – 14.30 Monday to Thursday, Friday 06.00 – 11.30

• 14.30 – 10.30pm. Monday to Thursday, Friday 11.30 – 5.00pm

💰 Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour 📈 Contract Type: Temp to Perm

🔧 Role Overview: 

• Welding high quality components including setting up and operating a range of tooling and machinery, e.g. welders (tig, mig etc.), punches etc.
• Welding components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method of working
• Must be able to read welding drawings and specifications
• Complete work documents and records
• Maintain a safe working environment, follow H&S procedures, and comply with legal regulations
• Ensure work equipment is used appropriately by following operating instructions; troubleshoot breakdowns; perform preventative maintenance
• Meet quality targets and maintain high quality standards

✅ Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ/Indentured Apprenticeship or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Welding qualification desirable
• Good numeracy skills
• Essential - must be able to read and interpret drawings
• Capable of working on own initiative
