Job Title: Despatch Operative / Reach FLT Driver – Leading British Food Manufacturer

📍 Location: Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 (own transport may be required due to site location)
⏰ Shifts: 4 on 4 off – 7:00AM to 7:00PM
💷 Pay Rate: £15.01 per hour + enhanced overtime pay

We are recruiting a Despatch Operative / Reach FLT Driver to join one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates seeking long-term stability, overtime pay, and career development.

Main Duties (but not limited to) for Despatch Operative / Reach FLT Driver:

• Order picking (approx. 70%) using our in-house system.
• Reach FLT driving (approx. 30%) to move stock safely and efficiently.
• Completing daily picking sheets issued by the Despatch Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Loading and unloading vehicles using PPTs.
• Supporting accurate stock control and dispatch operations.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.

Attributes We Are Looking For Despatch Operative / Reach FLT Driver:

• Valid Reach Truck FLT licence.
• Manufacturing background with an understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience as a Reach FLT driver in a warehouse environment.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance record.
