Food Production Operative – Morning and Afternoon Shift

Location: Worsley M28
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm or Monday to Friday 2:30pm-11pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Proman is currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established food manufacturing site in Worsley. Our client is one of the UK’s leading food producers, supplying major retailers and food service providers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling and preparing food products
• Working in a chilled environment
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
• Maintaining product quality and meeting production targets
• Supporting waste reduction and yield improvement initiatives
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive working environment
• Adapting to various production tasks as needed
• Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements

Requirements:

• Comfortable working with food products and in chilled conditions
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance
• Previous experience in food production is beneficial but not essential—full training provided
