Are you a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Packing Team Leader to support a dynamic contract packing operation. This hands-on role offers a mix of production and supervisory duties — ideal for someone who enjoys leading and making a real impact.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for motivating the team, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the production team to meet daily targets

• Speak to staff regularly about their performance and progress

• Ensure quality, health & safety, and hygiene standards are upheld

• Support with training new starters and covering line supervision

• Use computer systems for shift reporting, data entry, and performance tracking

• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other departments

• Foster a positive and respectful team culture

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role

• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others

• Excellent people skills – approachable, supportive, and focused on staff wellbeing

• Good computer literacy (e.g., data input, basic reporting, emails)

• High attention to detail and time management skills

• Willingness to work flexibly between operative and leadership roles

Desirable:

• Experience with FLT or other Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

• Valid FLT licence preferred but not essential
