Manufacturing & Production Operative

Key Details:

• Working days: Monday to Friday

• Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

• Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively to produce flooring panels and other related products.

• Organise and complete tasks efficiently according to the provided work schedule.

• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following Health & Safety regulations, removing scrap, and maintaining workspace cleanliness.

• Manage supplies by checking inventory, loading materials for transportation, and ensuring proper storage.

• Support production processes by inspecting, sorting, weighing, measuring, cutting, trimming, and preparing materials.

• Maintain accurate work records, including production statistics and inventory usage.

• Stay up to date with industry best practices through training and development opportunities.

• Contribute to company success by taking responsibility for your workload and seeking ways to enhance job performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with lifting, planning, and inventory control.

• Basic maths skills relevant to manufacturing tasks.

• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and power tools.

• Previous manufacturing experience (minimum 1 year preferred).

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

• Quick thinking and problem-solving ability.
