Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Tetbury Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00/5:00 pm

About the Role We are looking for a physically fit and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. This is a Temp to Perm role. In this demanding role, you will work closely with our main FLT driver throughout the warehouse, following assigned tasks and loading 16kg bags of flour onto pallets. If you hold a FLT Counterbalance license, after 3:00 pm you can utilize your skills to load pallets onto trucks—offering an exciting dual opportunity to work both on foot and with machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations:

  • Support the main FLT driver by assisting with various warehouse tasks.

  • Manually load 16kg bags of flour onto pallets—this is heavy work that requires strength and endurance.

• Forklift Operation:

  • Use your FLT Counterbalance license (if available) after 3:00 pm to load pallets onto trucks.

• General Duties:

  • Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and company standards.

  • Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse working environment.

  • Heavy lifting up to 25kg.

What We’re Looking For

• FLT Experience: Possession of a FLT Counterbalance license is a plus and will allow you to take on additional responsibilities post 3:00 pm.

• Team Player: Ability to work alongside colleagues effectively while taking on a proactive approach towards tasks.

• Reliability: Commitment to punctuality and consistency in performance.

Working Hours and Breaks

• Shift Length: 7:00 am to 4:00/5:00 pm Monday - Friday.

• Breaks:

  • One 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

  • Two 20-minute paid breaks.
