Job Title: Clerk of Works/ Site QS

Location: North West, Bojanala Platinum District, Rustenburg

Job Type: 6 months Contract, Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

• Ensure construction projects comply with specifications, regulations, and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
• Prepare detailed reports on site activities, issues, and resolutions
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to address construction issues
• Review project plans and drawings to identify potential problems and propose solutions
• Receive material and equipment from contractors and suppliers at the laydown area.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Proven experience as a Clerk of Works or Site Quantity Surveyor
• Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations

Experience:

6-8 years’ experience as a Clerk of Works or Site Quantity Surveyor

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
