Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Johannesburg on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rate and a great working environment.

Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. They coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

 Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and schedules.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation. 
• Manage project team and third-party/vendor relationships.
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Report on project status to stakeholders. Escalate issues as needed.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Responsible for the administration and direction of assigned projects.
• Responsible for representing the client on all project matters within portfolio
• Responsible for maintaining satisfactory relations with clients
• Determine the objectives for the project team in accordance with the contract terms and scope of work
• Recommend all estimates for contract changes and variation orders
• Control the project by continuous review of all project documentation within ICS department
• Primary contact on project matters
• Physical review, evaluation and inspection of the work done for the project.

Requirements:

• A relevant Degree/Diploma and Project Management Registration or Project Management qualification (essential)
• A minimum of 8 years experience as Project Manager (essential)
• Registration with relevant professional body (essential)
