At The President Hotel, the hotel front desk is more than just check-ins and check-outs, it’s where first impressions are made, guest relationships begin, and memorable hotel stays are created. As we continue our journey toward luxury, we’re looking for a Hotel Receptionist who can deliver exceptional guest service while keeping the hotel Front Office running smoothly and professionally at a very busy front desk.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
• Hospitality qualification or diploma (advantageous)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a hotel front office or hotel reception environment
• Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist or Front Office Receptionist preferred
• Strong hands-on OPERA PMS experience essential
• Strong computer literacy, including OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office
• Experience within a busy 4-star or 5-star hotel environment preferred
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Professional grooming and presentation
• CV must be fully updated prior to submission

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming hotel guests with warmth, professionalism, and confidence
• Managing hotel check-ins and check-outs efficiently using OPERA PMS
• Assisting guests with requests, queries, and general hotel information
• Handling guest complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Ensuring all guest profiles, bookings, and billing details are accurate
• Managing cashiering procedures and daily hotel reception administration
• Communicating effectively with Housekeeping and other hotel departments
• Monitoring arrivals, departures, room allocations, and guest requests
• Maintaining hotel Front Office standards and SOPs at all times
• Delivering exceptional hotel guest service and creating memorable experiences
• Keeping the hotel reception area neat, organised, and professional
• Supporting the Front Office team wherever needed to ensure smooth hotel operations
