As a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator / Driver at Planet Fitness, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing the movement of goods, supplies, and equipment to ensure the smooth flow of procurement and logistics operations across the business.

The successful candidate will oversee the complete logistics process from receiving goods into the warehouse through to distribution to clubs and departments nationally. This role includes warehouse coordination, stock control, logistics administration, and driving duties, ensuring that goods are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, physical stamina, safe driving practices, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced operational environment.

The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator / Driver will work closely with the Procurement Team, suppliers, and club operations to ensure accurate deliveries, efficient warehouse management, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Oversee the receiving, storing, packing, loading, and dispatching of goods and equipment.
• Ensure suppliers deliver correct quantities and specifications according to purchase orders.
• Ensure clubs and departments receive requested goods accurately and within required timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory levels, stock movements, and transportation activities.
• Monitor and coordinate daily warehouse operations to avoid backlogs and operational delays.
• Conduct inventory control activities, including stock counts and warehouse stock management.
• Ensure warehouse housekeeping and safety standards are always maintained.
• Coordinate distribution schedules to clubs and support departments nationally.
• Assist with tracking deliveries and resolving logistics-related issues.
• Work collaboratively with the Procurement Team to support operational requirements.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement Manager and Head of Procurement as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.

Driving & Delivery Duties

• Safely transport goods, supplies, and equipment between the warehouse, clubs, suppliers, and support office locations.
• Load and unload goods while ensuring items are handled safely and securely.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within scheduled timelines.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of company vehicles.
• Ensure delivery documentation, waybills, and proof of deliveries are completed accurately.
• Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company driving policies.
• Assist with urgent deliveries and collections when operationally required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Certificate or qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse Management, or related field will be advantageous.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain coordination, or delivery operations.
• Experience in inventory management and stock control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience working with procurement or inventory systems will be advantageous.
• Valid South African driver’s license is essential.
• PDP (Professional Driving Permit) will be advantageous.
• Forklift License will be advantageous.
