JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Manager is responsible for Overall and general management of the sales department.
Develop, lead, and motivate a team of salespeople to help drive revenue, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
|
- Ensuring that the team targets and KPI set are achieved.
- Driving and setting up of daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the sales team.
- Overall management, recruitment, and development of the sales team.
- Mentoring and motivating staff.
- Driving of outreach events and promotions.
- Manage the sales administration process.
- Maintain consistent target delivery.
- Sustain optimal team productivity by recruiting on an ongoing basis.
- Generate revenue by increasing membership sales.
- Superior member service and member retention.
- Management of risk
- Upholding the compliance standards set by the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
|
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum 2 year’s sales experience (previous experience in Health & Fitness or Hospitality industry preferred)
- Previous management experience and ability to interact at all levels.
- Proven track record of consistent sales achievements.
- Reliable transport and own cell phone essential.
- Must be flexible and adaptable and willing to work retail hours.
