Erongo Marine Enterprises (PTY) LTD (“EME”) is a proudly Namibian registered fishing company, based in Walvis Bay, and is operating in the Horse Mackerel fishery. EME has an exemplary record in respect of its fishing operations as well as its focus on socio-economic investment and development, both regionally and nationally.

EME currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following vacancy:

Trawl Master

Report to Chief Trawl Master. Assists Chief Trawl Master in managing the safe and efficient selection, maintenance and repair of the vessel's fishing trawls whilst onboard and always ensures compliance with relevant regulations.

Minimum Requirements & Duties

• Namibian citizenship
• At least 5 years’ experience as a trawl master on a meridian type of midwater trawler
• Any relevant qualification will be an advantage
• At least 3 years’ experience in midwater trawl designs, build and repair
• Experience in Horse Mackerel industry/Horse Mackerel midwater trawlers is an added advantage
• Knowledge of speaking Russian language is an added advantage
